I am in desperate need of an off-road K-1500 series Chevy truck specialist. My son was killed in an accident while riding in this type of vehicle that his best friend was driving. The truck had a lift kit very large tires and a roll-bar made of old car exuast pipe that had been welded together by the young man driving there were other facts which I am not sure went wrong with the truck while they were driving at about 45 miles an hour, causing the driver to lose control. The truck in question was modified in several areas to make it a Mudder Truck. the doors and top of truck were removed by owner the drivers father whom owned a body shop. My son's best friend, the driver of the truck, is about to go before the court system over the death of my son. I must have ALL the info from a professional in off-road vehicles and on chevy trucks because they are saying they never modifed the truck but the D.A.'s office say's different. Our Attorney needs a prof. to stand up for our side of the case in the wrongfuldeath lawsuit against the body shop. before I am able to make any type of decission on the safety of the vehicle involved. On September 28, 2006, which would also have been my son's 21st. birthday, I am scheduled to go and view, for the first time, the truck my son died in. The district attorney tells me that at this time I must have a professional chevy k-1500 truck specialist present and also to inspect the truck and provide a written evaluation of his or her findings of this vehicles modifications. If there is anyone who reads my plea for help that knows who provides this type of service or where I can locate this type of help, please contact me as soon as possible on my e-mail.I greatly appreciate anyone who may be of any help.Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Tina
