Transmission Problems

i have a 94 labrion convertible and im having a transmission problem it seems when ever the engine gets hot my transmission stays in a lower gear and when it wants to shift its like there are no other gears there if i let it coast down hills the tranny will catch in a low gear and then whine untill the car is almost stoped and the tranny oil is fine and so is the filter i dont no what the problem is

Already Tried:
check oil and it is still pink and no foam or not bubbly and not burnt
