Car Won't Turn-Over After Jumpstarting Another Car

Sent to Car Experts September 09, 2006 12:49 p.m.

A week ago my husband used my 98 Nissan Sentra to jumpstart his 94 300zx, while jumping his car my car sound horrible. It was loud and noiser than ever. After removing the battery cables from my car, it made another noise, kind of like an exasperation sound. I turned the engine off and it never started again. It won't turn over, the windows or radio won't work, all it does is click. I have a brand new alternator and my battery was purchased last year but because my battery was used for the jumpstart, I took it for testing. The test results were: GOOD with a GOOD charge. So if its not the battery or the alternator, what are the other possibilities? Also, keep it mind I drove it all week and had no problems - not even a sound. Please give a list of possible problems?

Just so I am on the right page, the vehicle wouldn't start after the jump or it first drove for a week after the jump?
