REPLIED Check Mark

High oil pressure would be caused by a bad oil pressure relief valve, allowing oil to build up, this is most likely contributing to your other concerns. You are looking at doing some engine work and replacing the engine oil pump and relief valve.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

The oil pickup tube/screen may be partially clogged and debris may be making its way past the filter screen and causing the oil pressure to go up nad blocking the relief valve. The other drvability symptoms may be directly related, but you should have a diagnostic check for trouble codes done to see if any other subsystem of the vehicle is indicating a fault. It is shutting the engine down and running rough, so the are a number of possibilites, you need to start with basic diagostic checks including an engine oil pressure test with a gauge to verify the oil pressure is actually going that high and not a problem with the gauge or sender itself.
