I have a 1999 Olds intrigue-it has overheated-its at the shop, but they are having a hard time finding the problem. There were no signs of overheating before, just replaced the Alternator, Both battery lights had been on, after that the check engine light came on, but was driving fine, after replacing the alternator thats when the temp gauge started to go up to hot. It would go down the faster i would drive and up when I would slow down. we replaced the tentioner it has been bled for air bubbles, we took the thermostat out, and it got hotter even faster- do you have any suggestions? it's a 3.5 Double over head 6 Cyl. Thanks,
Jennifer
