I have a 96 Olds Achiva, 3.1 V6, 131 k miles, runs rough and shows the 6 cyl not firing. Replaced spark plugs, wires, coil pack, ignition module, checked comp (good) cam, lifters and valves are good, finally found out that the spark is good when wire is not grounded to the plug, if I use a tool to check spark with wire hooked to plug it shows no spark but if I unhook wire from plug and hold it .25 - .5 inches from a ground source the thing sparks like crazy, as soon as I hook it back up to the spark plug the result is no spark. This problem is driving me crazy Please help. Thanks Jay
