i have a 1994 chevy z71 with a 5.7 litre v8 .fuel system ...

i have a 1994 chevy z71 with a 5.7 litre v8 .fuel system shuts down after a few seconds and quits running. fuel pump is working,new coil,has gas,new spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, rotery cap/button. can't figure out what the problem is please help.

 

Optional Information:
1994 Chevrolet k1500 5.7

Already Tried:
re-placed coil,gave a complete tune-up 5 months ago.sp.wires,sp.,cap,button.fuel filter,fuel pump 1year old.can hear fuel pump working.

What exactly is shutting down and how do you know this?

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: Can see Fuel injectors spraying fuel after about 5 seconds spraying goes to dripping then stops completly then engine shuts down after about 40 minutes of sitting it will turn over and do the same thing. Check engine light came on yesterday for a few seconds and went off.
