86 Toyota p/u viberation help?
Sent to Car Experts September 02 12:53 AM

I have an 86 toyota p/u, 22r 4cyl 2.3ltr carburated, 5spd 4x4 lifted 9 inches (3 inch body lift, 6 inch suspension w/35x12.50x15 tires dunlop mud rovers. I noticed that the truck has alot of vibration and I think I solved some of it by rebalancing the tires, but I still notice viberation. It has a brand new rear driveshaft that was put on when the lift was put on. The u-joints were shot in it so I replaced them. So I know that it shouldn't be the driveshaft being out of balance. Someone told me that my motor mounts might be bad. They said to start up the truck and let it idle and see if the engine shakes, or put it in 1st gear and let the clutch grab and see if the motor shakes and if it does then I will need new one. I did that and the motor didn't shake. Im all out of ideas on what to do. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks
