Question

Air intake systems

Sent to Car Experts August 27, 2006 9:21 a.m.

I have a question about two different after market products for vehicle intake systems.

The K & N Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK) claims to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range.

The Tornado Air Management System installs in the air-intake of your vehicle for better gas mileage and increased horsepower. The Tornado is an automotive air channeling tool that creates a swirling air motion, allowing the air to move faster and more efficiently by continuously whirling air around corners and bends. It causes better fuel atomization, resulting in an increase of gas mileage anywhere from 7-24%

Is one better than the other or would a combination of the two products have the benefit of both products?
