I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer, four door. I'm pulling a Casita Camping trailer with it. The gear ratio on the automatice transmission is giving me problems. The ration between second gear and third gear is to high. Driving in the Mountains I have to slow down to 40/45 when pulling in second gear.

Question, is there a automatic transmission available for this Blazer that has a better gear ratio?

I think your best bet here is to contact one of the transmission builders and tell them what you want,try b&m.com-monster transmissions.com.They will have all the info and expertise that you need If this is a 4wd.iIf it,s a two wheel drive just change the rear axle ratio
