I'm trying to replace the passenger side side view

I'm trying to replace the passenger side side view mirror on a 2003 chrysler mini-van. I removed the protective cover, removed the 3 screws and what remains is the wire which connects the mirror to the electricity (heat and movement). How do i get at the "plug" which disconnects the mirror assemble?

Hello

Some time the plug will come up, but most of the time it is anchored inside the door. You will have to pull door panel and connect new mirror.

Reply to MechanicMan's Post: no here, the plug clearly goes into the body of the car, not the door at all. it goes in either behind the glove box or under the dash board somewhere.

The kick panelm is the plastic cover that goes from floor to the dash., just in front of door
