problem with Toyota

I have 1996 Toyota Corolla- when accelerating the car lags real bad then takes off. Also, when braking sometimes my brake pedal is very, very touchy and grabs which causes my front end to shake like crazy. Even at time when the pedal feels normal the car will shimmy & shake. Prior to my last brake repairs of rotor, calypers, master cyl., & pads, the front of the car would smoke real bad. Since the repairs the smoking has stopped but my front wheels are very, very hot after driving even a short distance. What could the problem(s) be??? I need help cause my bank account is running low!

Already Tried:
replaced rotors, master cylinder, calypers, brake hose, pads, blew out brake line, tune-up

Sounds like the only thing left is the other brake hose. As they age, they corrode inside and do not allow the fluid to return to the master cylinder....which causes the very symptoms you're describing.

If I accept that probable solution, get a new brake line and still have a problem, will I have to pay another $8.00 for more help?
