1995 ford probe and i have two ...

1995 ford probe and i have two questions,intermittently car will not start over several hours of multiple attempts and then, suddenly for long period of time, no problem for it to start at all for long while?next i have aairbag light that flashes once then pauses and then 4 quick flashes? does this maybe have to do with first problem?
