Refilling problems 1995 F-150

Sent to Car Experts August 04 02:28 AM

My 1995 F-150 just recently had the Fuel pump replaced in the front tank by a so-called "good Mechanic" and now, when I refill at the pump, the gas can only be pumped in at a very slow pace. If I pump at the maximum allowed at a normal gas pump, the trigger trips as if the tank is full and it definitely not close. This is driving me crazy since it takes me forever to get any amount of gas. Please advice. Should I demand my 500.00 back since he messed up that and other stuff as well?

Thanks,
dbyers
