This is an idication that the cd player can no longer successfully read the cd's. More commonly to the lens beccomming dirty from dust. Two things you can try. First, purchase an over the counter cd lens cleaner, that comes in the form of a cd you run in the player momentarily. Second, use some keyboard air spray to blow the inside of the cleaner. If this does not allieviate the concern, the lens may be beyond cleaning, and the player may need to be replaced or removed for repair.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

If you've already attempted the cleaning, I would reccommend an aftermarket cd player replacement. If the stock player is removed and sent thru Ford for repairs, your looking at a minimum charge of $150.00, to up to $400.00 for a repair. A new stock cd-player is approx. $750.00. You can purchase a new Sony, Clarion, or other quality aftermarket replacement for just around $250.00.
