i have a 1999 Chevy s-10 blazer 4x4 with 109k miles on it. Recently I have noticed that the flasher is making noise like it's cycling even though the signals, hazards are not turned on. Those lights work when the switch is activated, however, the flasher sometimes cycles after they are turned off unless the brake is activated which causes the flasher to stop cycling while the brake pedal is depressed. I changed the flasher thinking maybe it was shorting itself out but that didn't stop the problem...just wondering where to start looking.

Optional Information:
1999 Chevrolet blazer 4.3Lv-6

Already Tried:
replaced the flasher
