87 Stanza AC Problem

87 Nissan Stanza AC (converted to 134a) blows hot air. Comressor "rattles, and at 95 degrees F ambient temp High side read 50psi at all engine rpm. Repair shop anaysis:    Install Expansion Valve and Drier- receiver. I did, and there is no chage in air temp. Same shop , New analysis : Install a compressor, and condensor, with no credit given for cost associated with first anaysis. Was first analysis legitimate, What should I do?

The first diagnoses was incorrect.If the compressor is making a rattling noise then the compressor is faulty.The pressures should be-on the high side 225-285.low side 28-36.Suggest you replace the compressor and the condensor.Also replace the drier and flush the rest of the system.Make sure you remove the expansion valve when you flush the system out.if you need furter assistance just ask or go to advanceautoparts.com and click on thier link for thier a/c repair and recharg video.Its free and very helpful.I hope this helps,please click accept.Thanks
