My A/C compressor shuts off occasionally while im ...

My A/C compressor shuts off occasionally while im driving. The system is full of freon and I have changed low pressure switch at the dryer. It seems to happen at will and won't come back on for several minutes if at all on that particular trip. Then the next time I drive it doesn't happen at all. Any suggestions?
