96 Ford Deisel dies on occation
Sent to Car Experts July 18 10:19 AM

I have a 1996 Ford F250 with the 7.3 deisel. It just turned 191,000 miles and has not needed anything major in repairs. Lately it's started to die, just for an instant, and then continues running as normal. It seems to happen at anytime but not real often. Tonight after filling it up, I started it, put it in drive, moved about five feet and it died. It started back up like normal, went about ten feet and died again. It started up normally again, I drove home without a hitch. Have looked for loose electrical connections but havn't found any. Have put an additive in both tanks to disperse water and have drained fluid out of the water seperater but still does it. Any ideas? Thanks much. Dan
