I have a 2001 corvette and when the headlight on one side goes downs it makes a kind of grinding noise for about 5 seconds. Any ideas what may be wrong and the approximate cost to repair?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

The problem is the electric motor that works the headlamp door. This can be a fairly expensive repair. I am not sure on the cost of the motor I can give a best estimate of about 170.00 (not at work to look it up). Labor at 70.00 an hr would be 2.5 hrs.Images available only to Customers.
