idle and slow acceleration

I have a f150 2001 Supercrew with the 4.6cylinder. I bought a AEM cold air intake but I am feeling a idle problem when I am at a stop sign. Also when i push on the gas pedal i have a slow acceleration but then it will pick up. What could the probleme be.

What Idle problem,as far as the slow acc check for a restriction in the intake if none check timing.
