I want to know how to replace/remove the door latch for a 1995 mercury mystique? Panel removed, screws, etc. but for some reason I can't get the part I am replacing out. Are they glued? Riveted?

Reply to Michael's Post: Thank you for your assistance. We got it off and replaced the new one. We had to actually use a dremel to remove, rust had adheared it to the part. Only took 5 hours... thanks anyway.
