Question

1995 mustang check engine light

Sent to Car Experts July 15, 2006 11:28 a.m.

I have a 1995 mustang 3.8 with 79,066 miles and the check engine light has been on for a while. I've taken it to auto zone for a diagnotic test, they said that they were ubale to run a diagnotic because of the year. I know that "check engine" could mean a number of things, but outside of paying the high hourly labor fee at the ford dealer, what can I do or where could I take the car and have the problem solved. Thanks Bill

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Most local shops should be able to help you at a more reasonable rate. Check with friends and neighbors for a reputable shop. Alot of shops will discount their diagnostics fees to get the repair work
