i have a 1987 dodge dakota v6 3.9 with 126,000 miles. what i need to know is, yesterday i was driving to the store and when i left the store my car wouldnt start,all it does is make a clicking sound but the battery is not bad allelctronic functions are working.do u think it could be my alternator?

It sounds like a bad connection, try cleaning the battery terminals and post. Also, check all the connections at the starter and starter solenoid. You said the battery is good therefore I cannot blame the alternator unless the alternator is not keeping the battery charged. Make sure all belts are tight and in good shape.
