Question

I have a code on a Olds 99 Cutlass for Intake Air High

Sent to Car Experts July 12, 2006 5:40 p.m.

I have a code on a Olds 99 Cutlass for Intake Air High Temperature,P0113. I've replaced the sensor in air intake duct and reset code. This worked for 6 months. Now it has reappeared after replacing all water hoses. I've replaced the sensor again and reset code, but this time it keeps reappearing. I'm wondering if this is a common problem and how to fix.
Thanks, Dennis

REPLIED Check Mark

Do you know what brand sensor you put in the car?

I bought it at Pep Boys. I think it was B/W brand, but not a factory sensor. You think I need to buy the factory sensor?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

You may need to, but first I would check all of your wiring to that sensor for any corrosion or breaks. Also check and make sure you have a good air filter and there are no blockages in your air filter housing. Let me know what you find.
