I just finished replacing the head gasket in my 1995 2.2l GMC Sonma pickup. After hooking the battery back up and getting ready to start it, I get nothing? No lights in the interior, no Headlights, no horn, nothing electrical works. I replaced the battery with a known good battery and still nothing. I must be overlooking something. Is there a main fuse or breaker that could cause this? Bad grounding somewhere?
Any advise would be appreciated.. Thanks

Just remember on thing, it worked before you touched it so it has to be something you did.

The negative battery terminal may have been grounded to the engine block and maybe you had to disconnect it. Look around for a disconnected cable. If you have jumper cables try connecting the negative to the battery and the other end of the negative to the engine block. Look for a wire that may have grounded the cylinder head to the firewall.

I'm sure if you take your time and look back on what you did you'll find the issue.

Good Luck!

Dan
