1986 toyota 4x4 freeze plug r&r

Sent to Car Experts July 12 12:25 AM

1986 Toyota 4x4 with carb intake. Time to replace at least oe freeze plug. Is this a repair an amateur can perform? Do I need any specialized tools or experience to make this repair happen? How many hours might I expect this to take? A whole day? What problems might I encounter? Should I have any extra spare parts on hand in case I break anything? I've done repairs like water pump replacement, drive shaft replacement, rear diff gasket replacement, clutch slave replacement. Is it realistic for me to think I can do this repair at home?
