My kids bumped my shifter into park while I was driving at 30 mph .
How bad is it? 2004 gmc extended cab.

Did it make a loud grinding noise when this happened? Does the vehicle seem to hold in park?

Reply to BOBBY's Post: Yes it mad a loud grinding noise and it still holds in park, the engine stopped. I started it back up and everthing seemed to work.
