Hi, thanks for your question.

I show two procedures. Can the key be removed in position 1?

Key will not remove in position one. Tried inserting paper clip in hole. Spring pushes in about 1/8 in., but can't get bezel to unscrew.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

The procedure I show is:

1. Key in position 1

2. Lift cover sleeve back to edge of key

3. Turn key to position 0, remove key and cover sleeve.

4.Reinsert key and and turn to position 1 (90 degrees to right), push in lock pin and remove cylinder.

Reverse procedure for assembly.
