axle or brakes?
Sent to Car Experts July 01 09:21 PM

i have a 1999 ford expedition, when i turn L or R i get a vibration during the turn, when I put it in 4 wd i dont get much of a vibration at all...I took it to one for dealer and they told me I needed brakes and rotors and parking shoes(1300$) I took it to my personal mech, who does not do warranty work ,told me it was the hubs going bad and he looked at it for free and I only owned the car since Feb, which I know the rotors and brakes wee ok...what would you suggest

Reply to BOBBY's Post: if i make a sharp turn, as if i am turning right or parking, you feel the vibration, on a wide turn, like turning left at a red light, you don't feel anything. but when i put the vehicle in four-wheel-drive i get no vibration, but it is harder to turn. there isn't any noise with the turn except the rumbling you get when turning, you can stand outside the vehicle and you dont hear anything
