Question

car starting

Sent to Car Experts June 29, 2006 2:47 p.m.

My 99 hyundai Accent has begun to not start consistenly but can be jump started by another car. There is a distinct clicking sound when turning over the engine and when driving a very strong smell like rotten eggs only when running for a few minutes. I am thinking alternator due to the ability to jump start it versus a starter.

Optional Information:
1999 Hyundai Accent 4 Cylinder
