heater core and hoses

how hard is it to change a heater core on a 1993 dodge dakota,is it possible that it could leak on driver side also. i am somewhat of a shadetree mechanic my truck has 106,000 miles i am trying to weigh my options too fix this and have no car payment or trade it in. whats your opinion.

Already Tried:
i replaced the heater core hose that goes from the firewall to thermostat housing but its laeking antifreeze on driver side inside and out/p>
