gasoling fumes

I have had car checked, they say there is no leak. Smell gasoling when air or heater is on. Could it need the oxygen sensor changed?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Hello Roxanne, No,not likely. The 02 sensors do not really have anything to do with fuel odor.if they were faulty, the check engine light would be lit anyway. What may be occuring is a leaking injector. What happens when the injector leaks is it gets on the hot intake manifold and evaporates,so it never leaves a trace of leakage. You will have to take this to the dealer unfortunately. If they found nothing the first time, take it again,or take it to another dealer. This should still be under warranty for this.If you are smelling fuel, this could be dangerous.Don't wait.please click my accept button if this answers the questio0n.Good Luck.Let me know how you make out.
