Question

what can cause coolant to leak into the oil and cause a blown motor

i have a 95 olds 88. i started to smell a rotten egg smell, drove 8 miles home and turned car off. went back to go out an hour later, the car started but shut down by itself after 2 minutes. that was 4 days ago, hasnt started since. i was told that the coolant leaked into the oil and the plugs are all wet and that the motor is probably blown
