The quickest check is fuses.Check all fuses with a test light or multimeter. The next thing to check for is power at the blower motor.If the fuses are good and no power at the motor then you could have a bad relay or controls.

Does the Grand Cherokee have more than one fuse for the blower? That fuse, I saw under to hood of the Jeep

There is only one direct fuse for the blower motor but you need to check all the fuses with a test light or multimeter.
