I have an intermittant problem with the backup lights not ...

I have an intermittant problem with the backup lights not coming on. Is their a relay, or switch that I can check?
I replaced both bulbs, and it definitely isn't getting power to the lights when it hgappens.

It's a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, 6 cyl, 4 wheel drive
