Question

'89 Pathfinder V6 SE Man. Trans.....won't fire-up

Sent to Car Experts September 26, 2004 3:01 p.m.

My 89 Pathfinder ( Nissan ) won’t fire up. I have good fuel delivery as far as the fuel filter atleast. I’ve replaced the plugs, plug wires, distr. cap, air cleaner, bettery.....I’ve checked the plugs for spark and could see a good spark in the daylite. I’ve even tried spraying start-up fluid down the throat of the injection throttle body - no difference. Prior to not starting I had been experiencing short iintervals while driving as if the power to the plugs was momentarily cut off. But it was very sporatic. It sure seems like an electrical problem unless the injectors are possibly plugged and if the ether down the throat wouldn’t work with this type of Injection throttle body. I replaced the battery before trying the error codes. Any ideas ?
