I get a message saying coolant sensor is bad its a jeep

This messgae is refering to the "Low Coolant Level Sensor," in the coolant resevoir located on the passenger side fenderwell, under the hood. This sensor is a common failure, usually from coolant buildup at the sensor itself. You can see the connector for this sensor at the top of the bottle, and it is often easily replaced. The dealer use to sell this sensor seperatly from the bottle/resevoir, I believe it might now be sold witht he entire resevoir. Also, check to make sure the connection is clean and good at the sensor, if it is heavily corroded this will also cause the message.
