the rear lights and my dash lights wont come on . I've checked all the bulbs, fuses, and power distribution box . I cant find any bad parts , yet I can't figure out the problem

You have a bad fuse.

Most all vehicles are wired that way so you will know when the tail lights go out by the dash lights going at the same time.

If you can't find the right one, give me the year, make,model and engine size so I can look it up for you.
