And, as I have said on prior posts, reading the codes is:
1. Fine, if the computer is working properly. In this case, as with many others, there is a strong probability that the computer is NOT working fine - and then you cannot depend on anything the computer says.
2. Only the beginning. After reading codes, from a computer that is working properly, you have got to be able to determine what the various codes mean and what is the best solution for each. Just because you have a code indicating the O2 sensor is not producing results withing spec, doesn't mean you replace the sensor. It could mean the sensor is bad, but it could also mean the wire to the sensor is bad or the connection at the sensor is bad. You must be smarter than the computer.
