i got a code on my scan tool that says there is a problem between my radiator relay1 and fan saying there is a short how do i fix it?

2000 Pontiac grandam 4.3

Already Tried:
radiator flush and thermostat

Those codes indicate a "control circuit malfunction"

That says nothing about a short. It indicates that the relay is not responding to the PCM commands. The 2 codes are for different fan circuits for fan 1 or fan 2 so it's still important to get the exact code to check the right circuit.

The problem will be on the trigger side of the relay and could even be a fuse or bad relay.
