Question

Toyota Corolla

Sent to Car Experts September 21, 2004 12:58 a.m.

I own a 1989 toyota corolla gts and to day I hit a bump in the road and now the idle will not go below 2000 rpm. I have checked the dashpot and it does not seem to be operating correctly so I adjusted the throttle so it is not making contact and now the idle is at 1500 rpm. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help.
