1995 pontiac grand am 4 cylinder automatic

Hello,

I am banging my head against the wall. The vehicle in question started choking/hiccuping then stalled. Waited a couple of minutes, it would fire back up. Did this several times. I was able to drive it about 15 miles, then it did it again. I tried to restart it, wouldnt stay running but for a second, started its chugging and coughing. Had my wife start to push me home (with her vehicle) got about 10 feet, tried starting it, fired right up and purred all the way home. Today, I drove it around the neighborhood for several miles, then it coughed and chugged then stalled. It wouldnt even fire up. So once again the wife came after it had set for an hour or so, and pushed me about 100 feet and boom it fired right up and drove all the way home again. The dash/dummy lights flicker real fast after it has died out when I am trying to restart it, and right before it gets ready to die.

Had the alternator and battery checked- fine. Put in an engine control computer today (expensive) still does the same thing. I did notice moisture on the computer that I took out. It seems to happen more frequently after it warms up.

Anything whatsoever that you might be able to help me with would be very appreciated. Thank you so very much.
