I have a 1988 golf fox and one day it wouldn't start so I put a new rotor cap and a new distribor cap and new sparke plug wires and spark plugs in and it started and ran for a day then the next day it wouldnt start .A couple of days later I tried tostart it and it started for a few seconds then died.Someone told me the fuel pump is probalby weak.
So what do you think.I took it to automobile mechanic before I heard about the fuel pump or sender and he couldnt figure it out.
