Starting stored car
Sent to Car Experts April 28 10:28 PM

I have a 67 Cougar that had a recently rebuilt engine. Shortly after that I parked it, which was about three years ago. Now I want to start restoration. I haven't turned the engine yet. Should I be concerned that maybe the pistons, rings, cylinders, etc. are dry of oil after sitting for so long? A friend suggested I treat the engine as if it were a brand- new first start. What did he mean? Any suggestions?          Bob
