We have a 2002 olds alero, evaporation emission control system malfunction; code p440 how do i replace this part and where/

2002 Oldsmobile Alero GL 3.4L v6 SFI OHV

A new PVC and Oil change and the computer diognostics

P0440 is the evap emissions control system failure, sometimes caused by a loose or defective fuel cap, faulty purge solenoid, or a leak somewhere in the vapor control system.
check and or replace the fuel cap.. this is common if the fuel cap is not tight

this doe's not tell me how to track the problem for a leak some where,i will stil have to pay the dealership to tell me the same thing and then to fix the problem!
