I have 1988 310/8 wheel horse tractor put pto in an engine quit. I then checked safty switches that pto handel goes up against when putting in an out.There was alot of play, the only way I could keep it running was to pull switch togather with plastic tie. I got new switch installed won't run when I put pto in gear stall engine.Tried everything won't run unless I pull switch in all the time.Looked for broken or worn wire,but can't find any.It has safty switches on pto,seat ,clutch,low oil .Made sure all wires were on switch.Ican make it run by holding switch on pto closed,but thats not the way it should be.
