when air cond clutch engages comp is very noisey, not cooling,system has been recharged. could comp be bad,bad clutch or what else. ??????

is it a rattle type noise or a low growl rattle it could be the AC clutch or a growl is internal compressor noise how long have you let it run if it has not been run for some time it may be noisy on startupalso is it overcharged
