ACCEPTED Check Mark

The first things to check are fuel pressure and spark.Injector pulse would be a bonus.See if you can hear the pump run if you turn the key to on.It will only run for 2-3 seconds if it works.See if it will fire on a shot of starting fluid also.

Fuel Pressure and spark are fine. Starter or Ignition Control Module?

You will have to check for injector pulse with a noid light then.Make sure your check engine light comes on when you turn the key to run. What is your fuel pressure reading by the way?

Spark and fuel was redone when I got the vehicle as far as I know. maybe the fuel pressure is wrong, not sure how to gage it. Nothing else has been replaced.

Check the 30 amp EEC fuse also.If you are not sure on the fuel pressure do as I suggested and try starting fluid to see if it will at least fire on that.

Checked all the fuses and all are Ok, I will try the starting fluid, is there a type of tool I should look into to measure the fuels pressure?

Yes you would need a fuel pressure gage.Try the starting fluid first and get back to me with the results. You may have to buy a noid light to check for injector pulse but they are cheap.Make sure the check engine light is working like I said.Let me know what you find.

Tried the starting fluid. The vehicle would fire up but when I would let off the ignition it would just shut down. Check engine light is not on

If the check engine light doesn't come on with the in the on position you need to double check your fuses.Use a multimeter if you have one.Looking at fuses doesn't always work.

Well if the check engine light doesn't come on you have a power to the engine computer problem or a bad computer.Make sure you have power at the relay named pcm power in this diagram. Images available only to Customers.
