I went to Jiffy Lube to have my oil changed, have 2005 ...

I went to Jiffy Lube to have my oil changed, have 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 6 cylinder car
and they recommended and did fuel injected service and cleaner my car had 16,143 miles on it now I am wondering was this service necessary because at 9,275 miles they
told me I need my air filter changed @ 9,275 miles and someone told me you should only have that done @ 15,000 miles ? thanks for your assistance
